Post-jam bugfixes (v1.1)
Life Cyan » Devlog
The first post-jam update has a few fixes for bugs and mistakes, and some minor usability improvements. The original 7DRL build of the game can be played here.
- Fixed dropped keyboard inputs when embedded on itch.io.
- Fixed distance check for Aira’s melee attack so it can no longer work through walls.
- Player vision cone animates correctly on movement.
- Winning the game now takes you back to the main menu instead of a blank screen.
- Start-of-first-mission banter now plays correctly.
- Fixed a few incorrect Unicode characters in the dialogue which aren’t supported by the bitmap font.
- More pause time for longer dialogues, as these were too fast for some players.
- Hover text for “peek”, “predict guards” and “use exit” buttons now shows keyboard hints.
- Space bar now works on main menu screen.
- Use correct splash art for between-mission dialogue.
- Better corrupted portrait for Mia.
There are still a few other bugs remaining, and we intend to continue working on this project in the future to add a few more features and more gameplay.
